AOSCA Sunflower Variety Review Board

The 2023 Sunflower VRB applications are due March 15, 2023.

AOSCA underwent a leadership transition in 2022, with the hire of a new CEO, Dr. Sarah Wilbanks, and Executive Assistant, Teresa Snyder. Under this new leadership, AOSCA has analyzed each of its programs to identify needs for efficiency and modernization. One of the biggest areas of improvement identified was the application process for the Variety Review Boards.

Therefore, AOSCA has been working diligently to identify a new system that can collect Variety Review information in a better format than a word or PDF document. We have developed a system utilizing Microsoft Forms, which allows the applicant to submit each application electronically. The Sunflower application will be the first crop kind that we will test our new system with.

As always, we are here to answer any questions you may have to ensure this transition and process change flows as smoothly as possible.
