2010 Southern Region Meeting

The 2010 AOSCA Southern Region Meeting will be held at the Hilton Garden Inn Outer Banks/Kitty Hawk in Kitty Hawk, NC on April 26-28, 2010.  Daryl Bowman, Director, and the staff of the North Carolina Crop Improvement Association are your hosts.

The Oceanfront Hilton Garden Inn Outer Banks/Kitty Hawk hotel of North Carolina is on the beautiful coast of the Atlantic Ocean giving each guestroom its own unique view while being convenient to shopping, beaches and dining. Your airports of choice are the Norfolk International Airport (ORF), about an 80 mile drive; Newport News/Williamsburg International Airport (PHF), about 105 miles; or Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU), about 225 miles.  There is a shuttle service running from Norfolk Airport and some transportation may be provided by North Carolina Crop Improvement if arrival and departure times are known.

Meeting Registration~

Plan to travel on Monday to arrive by evening.  Preliminary plans are for an all-day training for warm-season turfgrass and wheat inspection training.  Some free time will be available for fishing!
